France and Belgium Antique Buying Trip– 2010

I’m finishing up the plans for my January buying trip to Europe! I will be flying from Atlanta Market directly to France and Belgium for antiquing and then to NYC for market! I’m looking forward to a very exciting (and stressful!) month!!!!

{Taking pics of my purchases in L’isle-Sur-La-Sorgue on my last France buying trip}

I might stop by L’isle-Sur-La-Sorgue — the destination for International antique dealers and collectors, even though the big antique fair isn’t until April (2nd largest in France).  I love the quaint town and variety of antique shops.

From Provence I will drive to Paris with as little luggage and as many purchases as possible.

The trip isn’t all about buying — you also have to sightsee along the French Riviera!

I’m sure I will spend a weekend at the famous Marché aux Puces St-Ouen de Clignancourt in Paris {aka THE Paris Flea Market} with Marche Paul Bert being my favorite!

First stop: Le Monde du Voyage to visit my favorite dealer Roger. He has the best vintage Louis Vuitton, Goyard, and Hermes {yes, you are looking at some Birkins and Kellys below!}

I haven’t been to Belgium before, so I’m not sure what to expect, but I heard it was the best place to buy antiques now. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to go/ find the best markets/dealers/antiques!?!??

OR

Does anyone want to come along and help? :)
