I’m anx­iously await­ing my con­tainer from Eng­land and France. I’ve almost for­got­ten about it, because it has been almost 2 months since I was on my buy­ing trip! How­ever, I haven’t for­got­ten about my lovely stay at Claridge’s Hotel in the exclu­sive May­fair area of London.

At the begin­ning of the trip, my mother and I stayed at The Gor­ing Hotel, and we had an “okay” expe­ri­ence (small room, next to the kitchen, not-so-great service).

The next week, I decided to try Claridge’s, because I read it was style icon Diane von Fursten­berg’s favorite hotel in the world. I love DVF, so if its good enough for her, then its good enough for me! I wanted to stay in one of the 20 chic rooms she cus­tom designed for Claridge’s. I’ve always been a fan of DVF’s bold printed dresses, and her new Home Col­lec­tion makes me want to redec­o­rate my house!

DVF incor­po­rated her iconic style and new home tex­tile col­lec­tion into the rooms at Claridge’s with her bold sig­na­ture prints and pops of color to achieve a mod­ern, glam­orous look.

Unfor­tu­nately my mom and I weren’t able to stay in one of the DVF rooms at Claridge’s, but we were upgraded to a fab art deco suite.

The foyer, designed by Thierry Despont, was just as chic as our room, with its mod­ern Art Deco style.

The flow­ers made it even more fabulous!

I highly rec­om­mend the posh Claridge’s Hotel and will def­i­nitely be stay­ing there next time I’m in London!
